Senior Accountant-Lifestyle – UK Shift (Remote) Accounting Remote - India Apply Description Position at Ziff Davis Senior Accountant – Lifestyle - UK Shift (Remote) This position is responsible for handling revenue recognition and daily billing operations for new and existing services. This position will have significant cross-departmental collaboration with the Receivables, Sales Operations, Legal, and Finance teams daily. This Senior Accountant role will require the ability to drive change and contribute to automation initiatives of manual processes to produce consistent, timely and accurate invoices and reporting. P&L experience will prove integral to this role, especially for M&A. This role will be remote, and the position would require the ability to work the UK Shift M-F 9am-5:30pm and later hours during the month-end close period. Key Responsibilities:Lead and support the month-end and quarter-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timelinessPrepare and record revenue-related journal entries based on detailed analysis of underlying transactions and supporting dataReconcile sub-ledger activity to general ledger balances and investigate and resolve variancesPerform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analyze income statement and budget-to-actual variancesPartner with internal and external auditors to support audits and ensure compliance with public company reporting requirementsCollaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Financial Operations, Internal Audit, and Legal to support financial reporting and operational initiatives Job Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field3–6 years of progressive accounting or billing operations experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environmentPublic accounting and/or U.S. technical accounting experience preferredStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting processesHighly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailProven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionallyExperience with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion Cloud and CRM platforms such as Salesforce a plus About Ziff Davis LifestyleLifestyle media brands have presence in the home, design, and living categories.
