Job Description

The Asset Management & Reliability (AMR) Team supports customer success by delivering optimized procurement solutions for maintenance, operations (MRO), and engineering support requirements. The Team Manager partners with multiple partners, including Global AMR, Regional Delivery Teams, Remanufacturing Operations, and Customer Success. This partnership enables the provision of efficient, customer-focused procurement support, driving commercial value, process excellence, and continuous improvement. We are looking for collaboration with business leaders, AMR professionals, suppliers to ensure service delivery and operational performance.

Your Responsibilities:

Strategy & Governance

  • Develop AMR Commodity strategy to improve cost, quality, supply continuity, risk management, and supplier performance while aligning with Global AMR goals and customer requirements.
  • Lead sourcing projects, supplier negotiations, and contract management activities to deliver commercial value, support operational and priorities.
  • Establish, and improve performance against main Goals and Service level agreements related to vendor performance, cash flow, and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures while identifying opportunities to improve processes, and overall performance.
  • Lead and sponsor continuous improvement projects with local, regional, and global impact in cooperation with System & Process Lead Team.Operations and Delivery
  • Oversee daily procurement and operational support activities to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage team capacity, workload distribution, and organizational structure to respond to changing priorities.
  • Implement low-, medium-, and high-complexity projects that support business growth.
  • Ensure supplier delivery of value procurement services to internal and external customers.

Technology & Process Excellence

  • Promote process standardization, automation, and best practices to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
  • Partner with Global SSO and teams to align processes, governance standards, and performance metrics.
  • Use data, analytics, and technology solutions to enhance decision-making and operational performance.

People & Capability

  • Lead a team of your team members' contributions and subordinate leaders to maximize revenue and employee engagement.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, goal setting, performance management, and succession planning activities.
  • Foster a culture of learning, accountability, collaboration, and new ideas.
  • Assess and adapt team capabilities, structure, and resources to meet evolving business demands.Partner Management & Communication
  • Partner with Global AMR Business, Capabilities Portfolio, Regional Delivery Teams, and other functional partners to understand priorities and ensure support.
  • Develop relationships with internal customers, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Communicate priorities, performance results, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership and partners.
  • Facilitate collaboration to provide customer-focused solutions and achieve strategic goals.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related function, including at least 1 year in a people-leadership role.
  • Experience in supplier management, negotiations, and process improvement projects;
  • Excellent partner management across cultures and time zones.
  • Experience with procurement, supply chain operations, international trade, and customer-facing business processes.
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2); additional language skills, German, are an advantage.
  • We prefer proficiency in applications, Excel, and PowerPoint; candidates demonstrating knowledge of SAP, DDS, CPro, and Power BI.
  • Understanding of customer markets, products, and services is desirable.
  • Familiarity with master data, commodity taxonomy, and vendor lifecycle management.

  • Structures ambiguous problems; orchestrate cross‑functional decisioning with clear governance.
