Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Definition: Create accurate definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies using 2D cross-sections, 3D models, and electronic data formats.
- Support & Collaboration: Provide technical data to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection processes.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Use your analytical skills and experience to solve technical challenges, proposing solutions that improve current practices while working within established guidelines.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Understand how your work integrates with other teams, collaborating across functional boundaries to ensure successful project execution.
- Knowledge Sharing: Develop your expertise in turbine design and provide informal guidance to new team members, contributing to a culture of continuous learning.
Required:
- Advanced experience in Engineering, Technology, or Product Definition.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage tasks independently.
- Effective oral and written communication skills to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in a construction or structural design capacity within a technical environment
Preferred:
- Established project management skills with the ability to plan and execute technical programs.
- Proven ability to document and market technical solutions.
- Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools, specifically CATIA V5 or Siemens NX.
