Job Description

The Software Engineering Team leader will focus on managing and technically lead Software development team for vehicle communication gateway modules. The team lead will also focus on coordination of development activities in North America as well as offshore locations. Projects include Vehicle Communication Gateways, Body Control Modules, Perfectly Keyless, Zone ECUs, Power-net Guardian.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with global Embedded Software development teams. 
  • Plan and manage resources for SW development activities.
  • Evaluate and deploy new SW development technologies, CI/CD strategies to address autonomous and connected vehicle platforms solutions, a well to improve efficacy end efficiency of the team.
  • Continuously evaluate team performance, current development frameworks/toolchains
  • Interact with local and global non-SW discipline teams to coordinate Project wise deliverables
  • Support technically to global team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Software or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience in the field of embedded control modules.
  • 5+ years of Project management
  • 8+ years of experience using Configuration and Change Management tools (Integrity, ClearCase, Synergy, Git, JIRA, etc.)
  • Strong experience with diagnostic communication protocols such as UDS, OBD, J1939, J1699, J1979, among others.
  • Knowledge of ASPICE, MISRA, FSM, CyberSecurity applied to SW development.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent team player and skills in interacting with global clients
