Trail Crew, Summer 2014 - Full Time- Canyons Resort in Park City, UT

PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE

Perform maintenance work on winter and summer trails.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks on ski trails:
• General trail maintenance; tree and brush removal, installing fences, snow maintenance and removal, removal of rocks and other obstructions.
• Operate a variety of tools, equipment and vehicles in the course of performing duties such as chain saw, snowmobile.
• Assist with other on-hill maintenance duties as assigned.
• Maintain tools and equipment used in trails maintenance.
• Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) by following the Resort Etiquette Guidelines.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

WORKING RELATIONSHIP

Direct supervision is received from Trails Supervisor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Exposure to inclement weather conditions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, lift and carry heavy objects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School education desirable.
• Good skiing ability.
• Experience working with chainsaw and in operating snowmobile preferred.
