You ensure the efficient and safe operation of all plant and equipment and assist in supervising repairs, maintenance, and new installations, ensuring safe operations in the hotel. As a Senior Engineer, and contents – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

​​To lead and oversee daily engineering operations during pre-opening and operations, ensuring all building systems operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Waldorf Astoria and Hilton standards.​ 

Key Responsibilities / Main Duties  

Your role is important, and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique. 

  • Lead daily shift engineering operations and attend to all maintenance requests and breakdowns. 

  • Ensure HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and life safety systems operate efficiently. 

  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and corrective works according to schedules. 

  • Supervise Duty Engineers and Technicians on shift. 

  • Support testing, commissioning, and snag list clearance during pre-opening. 

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and brand requirements.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a similar role or 5+ years in a supervisory position within a 4/5-star hotel
  • Strong knowledge of hotel electrical, mechanical, and engineering systems
  • Skilled in equipment maintenance, safety standards, and energy management
  • Proven leadership, team supervision, and contractor coordination experience
