Purpose and Mission
- Responsible for balancing supply and demand within a specific BU, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
- Design a global supply chain strategy for Steel Ropes in close support to the global commercial strategy
- Implement and enforce the global supply chain framework to ensure standardization across the different entities
- Make a roadmap to roll out the SCM methodology
- Focus on the execution of the Digital Supply Chain Roadmap
- Develop and maintain accurate demand planning and forecasting processes to ensure alignment between supply capabilities and market requirements, leveraging data analytics and collaboration with commercial teams
- Coordinate and drive supply chain improvement projects in Steel Ropes that supersede the regional local supply chain
- Leverage the global footprint to maximize profitability while ensuring smooth supply.
- Identify new potential projects for supply chain optimization, maximizing the use of our global footprint
- Contribute to footprint exercises and share expert advice on how to handle logistics and supply for raw material and final product for the new situation
- Create a risk management framework within the supply chain strategy in order to anticipate and mitigate potential disruptions across all regions, including geopolitical, supplier, and logistics vulnerabilities. The manager will ensure resilience by implementing robust risk assessment tools, developing contingency plans, and fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Closely collaborate with the local and global leaders to identify supply chain challenges
- Will support in improving Inventory, Working Capital, OTIF/MOTIF and CCC KPIs

- Quick learner across diverse topics and domains.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, other languages (Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, Chinese) are a plus;

- Willingness to travel occasionally
Previous Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects and teams.
Qualifications and Education
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications are considered advantageous.
