This is a 1st shift position with core hours of 7 am - 3:30 pm, M-F.
The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 per hour.

What you’ll do:
The Quality Inspector conducts receiving, in-process, and final inspections of aerospace engine components to verify conformance with design requirements and customer specifications. Responsibilities include dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and other precision inspection equipment. The role requires the ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, understand and apply GD&T requirements, and evaluate product characteristics against aerospace standards and specifications. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of inspection methodologies, quality assurance principles, and aerospace manufacturing processes while maintaining accurate inspection records and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Safety Sensitive Position – Drug & Alcohol Testing This position is classified as a safety sensitive role under applicable U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully complete a DOT required pre employment drug test.

In this role, you will:
- Read and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement equipment
- Use knowledge of measurement systems and techniques including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Be familiar with the requirements of ISO9001 and AS9100
- Interact with co-workers and customer representative
- Perform verification inspection of Eaton’s supplier’s detailed components
- Perform verification inspection of Eaton’s product for compliance to customer’s requirements
- Assist customer source inspectors as required
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in manufacturing and/or military environment
- Minimum of two (2) years experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
- This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to random testing under our Drug and Alcohol Abatement program.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a Technical Degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience with Coordinate Measurement Machine use, programming ability is preferred.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Surface plate lay-out.
- Thorough knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Inspection equipment programming
- Basic computer skills.
