Description
Key scientific contributor to multiple platforms within Advanced Technologies leveraged by all our brands (including EL, CL, LM). Develops novel methods, models, and strategies for claim support and generation of scientific assets.
Support ATP innovation with new concepts, technologies, testing, and communications to elevate formula efficacy and deliver innovations that elevate the ELC market position.
Inspires our team toward a common vision by being a role model and point of reference towards establishment and scientific substantiation of innovative skin biology concepts that can be leveraged by all our brands.
Leads a junior scientist direct report towards generating and reporting scientific data for new claims substantiation that can be used by our brands. Provides scientific training, mentorship, and oversees experimentation and data reporting for the team. (30%)
Interact with colleagues within the ATP community, clinical testing, legal/regulatory, and other R&I groups to bring innovative technologies to the brand with associated claims. Develops new biological concepts, designs and executes scientific experiments, and reports data in consideration of all ELC standards of scientific rigor and compliance with regulatory and legal standards, with the aim of developing new scientific assets for the brand. Manages multiple upstream platforms and pillars within the AT department. Responsible for scientific guidance and execution of projects of initiatives intended to deliver high-impact breakthrough technologies to be leveraged corporately across our brands. (30%)
Develops PDP goals, evaluates performance, and provides feedback and career guidance the direct team. (10%)
Qualifications
Masters (with 1-2 years of experience) or a fresh PhD
Minimum 9 years of experience
10% Travel
Pay Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $115,000.00 to $125,000.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
