Responsibilities
The Agency Talent Acquisition Team (ATA) is responsible for executing enterprise recruiting strategies that attract, develop, and place high-quality agency candidates while supporting the long-term success of State Farm's agency force. The team partners closely with Agency Field Leadership and enterprise stakeholders to provide strategic direction, talent insights, and operational excellence throughout the recruiting lifecycle. They are an agile organization that balances today's recruiting priorities with the evolving needs of the business, ensuring a consistent and exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience.
The Agency Recruiting Manager is responsible for leading a diverse team that supports the end-to-end agency recruiting process. This role provides leadership to managers overseeing the Agency Talent Professional team, while also directly overseeing the Field Liaison team that serves as a key connection between recruiting and Agency Field Leadership. The manager is responsible for developing talent strategies, driving operational excellence, fostering strong partnerships across the enterprise, and ensuring alignment between recruiting efforts and business objectives. Success in this role requires exceptional leadership, collaboration, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable recruiting strategies that strengthen the future agency force.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership, strategic planning, direction, and coordination for the recruiting function and across Agency Optimization
- Assists Director and/or Department leadership in establishing, implementing, and communicating short and long-term recruiting strategies
- Leverages strategic goals and outcomes to make decisions regarding Agency recruiting processes and programs
- Responsible for leading innovation and enhancements including research, business case development, and competitive market insights
- Identifies strategic integration and connection across the agent lifecycle to enhance the overall candidate experience, influence candidate selection, and inform the hand-off to Agency Learning
- Responsible for implementation of the agent placement plan, recruiting strategy, vendor relationships, and candidate process based on the strategic vision and integration of recruiting plan
- Applies knowledge of agent compensation, policies, practices, structure, philosophy, including agent agreements and placement goals for execution of agency recruiting results in alignment with enterprise goals
- Provides leadership, expertise, and direction in support of business objectives/goals and change initiatives
- Responsible for the selection, training, development, performance management, and salary administration activities of assigned employees
Work Locations: Bloomington, IL-Corporate, Dunwoody, GA-ParkCenter Hub, Richardson, TX-CityLine Hub or Tempe, AZ-Marina Heights Hub locations.
Hybrid Work arrangement: A "Hybrid" position means selected candidates will be assigned to a facility and will spend some time working both in office and from their home.

- Prior leadership experience
- Prior experience and knowledge of planning and analysis, data analytics, agency, and/or field experience.
- Ability to problem solve, think critically, influence adoption or new business practices and model a growth mindset while working in ambiguity.
- Possess attention to detail while also being able to drive pace and speed to market.
- Ability to anticipate and act appropriately to identify and solve problems.
Additional information:
- Job may require travel overnight via commercial transportation or driving motor vehicles to any office locations where the Company does business, or other locations to conduct/attend training, conferences, meetings, and/or seminars. If in Claims, must maintain a valid license to lawfully operate vehicles as directed/requested by State Farm.
- May work extended hours, weekends and holidays.
- May manage teleworkers.

- Potential starting salary range: $137,000 - $185,000
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
