The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator V to support the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES) program. This senior-level position is responsible for maintaining the reliability, availability, security, and performance of enterprise production environments supporting mission-critical Navy logistics and maintenance applications used by public shipyards, intermediate maintenance facilities, and fleet activities worldwide.

The Systems Administrator V serves as the technical lead for production operations, providing advanced systems administration, troubleshooting, automation, infrastructure modernization, and operational support across Windows-based server environments. This individual will work closely with Operations, Cybersecurity, Database Administration, Network Engineering, Application Development, and Government stakeholders to ensure high availability and compliance with DoD security requirements.



Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain enterprise Windows Server environments supporting NMMES production systems.
  • Lead production deployment activities, software installations, operating system upgrades, and system patching while minimizing operational impact.
  • Monitor production system health, availability, capacity, and performance using enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues spanning operating systems, application servers, storage, networking, authentication, and infrastructure services.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual administration.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, certificate services, and enterprise authentication services.
  • Support VMware virtual infrastructure including provisioning, maintenance, performance optimization, and lifecycle management.
  • Coordinate production releases with Development, Configuration Management, Database Administration, and Operations teams.
  • Perform disaster recovery planning, backup validation, system restoration testing, and business continuity support.
  • Maintain configuration documentation, operational procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical diagrams.
  • Support cybersecurity compliance activities including STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, audit support, and security patch management.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning for production outages.
  • Provide Tier III operational support and mentor junior systems administrators.


Qualifications:
Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Additional relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • Minimum 10 years of systems administration experience supporting enterprise environments.
  • Minimum 5 years supporting DoD or Federal Government production environments.
  • Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrated experience leading production operations and infrastructure administration.
  • ACTIVE Secret Clearance with the ability to maintain eligibility.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$105,100-$231,100
