What you will do:


You will be responsible for the delivery and execution of HR services to employees and managers at our Waynesboro facility. You will perform a variety of employment related functions for the ultimate purpose of improving employee engagement, efficiency and ensuring employee compliance with company policies.

How you will do it:

  • Under minimal to no supervision provide Human Resources support to the   Waynesboro facility. 
  • Work autonomously in ambiguous situations and adapt quickly to change, as well as guide varying levels of the organization through change.
  • Leverage the full capabilities of the Human Resources (HR) organization, e.g. centers of expertise (COE’s), shared service centers, business HR and compliance.
  • Apply and interpret Human Resources policies and practices in an objective manner.
  • Under minimal supervision deliver sensitive and difficult communications to employees and leaders (e.g. corrective action, reductions-in-force, and involuntary terminations).
  • Recognize potential employee relations issues in a proactive manner and either resolve the issue or escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Investigate routine to complex employee relations issues such and provide recommendation within acceptable parameters (e.g. corrective action, policy violations and performance issues).
  • Present Human Resources programs to customer groups and employees.
  • Demonstrate reputation as a neutral and approachable HR professional to identify the best solution based on the situation.
  • Under supervision, assist in implementation of organization changes and support with appropriate change management processes.
  • Actively participate in team projects and continuous improvement initiatives from design through implementation.
  • Respect differences and promotes inclusion on an organizational level.

 

What we look for:

 

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years Human Resources related experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working in a union environment
  • Working knowledge of general HR practices, relevant labor laws, and regulations.
  • Ability to handle high volume and moderately complex workload.
  • Ability to manage through conflict while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with continuous improvement practices.
  • Exceptional organizational, inter-personal and oral/written communication skills are essential.
  • Intermediate analytical, auditing and problem-solving skills.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100,000-120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
