We’re more than a distributor—we’re a trusted partner built on strong relationships, operational know-how, and a relentless focus on customer success.Role OverviewThe Fabrication Associate assists welders and other fabrication specialists throughout the entire fabrication process and prepares produced products for distribution.ResponsibilitiesOperates grooving, threading, and band saw machines that assist in the fabrication process.Knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and sketches and to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.Able to read a tape measurer and gauges, type of materials according to specifications.Perform high mathematic shop math, convert decimals to factional equivalents and fractions to decimal equivalents.Layout, measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on materials.Sets up and operating fabricating machines and knowledge of air/hand tools.Inspects parts for accuracy and produces quality products consistently.Prepares all completed products for distribution.Follows all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.Performs additional duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
Education GED - High School Diploma. Technical knowledge of machinery, tools, gauging and fabrication. Role requires 1 year of fabrication experience. Prior Forklift experience.Computer literate; Proficient with MS Office 365. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to solve problems. Ability to effectively communicate [written and verbal]. Proven experience with quality control analysis. Basic knowledge of math and geometry. Thrives in a collaborative team environment. Detailed oriented work style comfortable with multiple priorities being juggled while maintaining a consistent work approach. Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.
