- EMT Paramedic - Full Time, Variable Shift
EMT Basic - Per diem/On-call, Day Shift
The EMT-Basic is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with departmental specific personnel. The EMT-Basic must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards when physician contact is not possible. Must also be able to participate in departmental committees, public relations, and outreach education.

The paramedic must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards as defined by departmental policy. Must also be able to participate in Departmental committees, public relations, and outreach education.

EMT Basic:
Required Qualifications:
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Upon hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems or,
- Upon hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems or,
- Upon hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems or,
- Upon hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
EMT Paramedic:
Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Successful completion and maintenance of Department of State Health Services or National Registry approved Paramedic training program/certification/license.
- Upon hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems or,
- Upon hire: Texas Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
- 2 years Experience in a healthcare setting within a critical care environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year Covenant Ambulance:
- Experience in emergency medical services.
- Experience in emergency medical services.
Salary Range by Location:
EMT Basic, Lubbock, TX Min: $14.80, Max: $22.18
EMT Paramedic, Lubbock, TX Min: $21.67, Max: $33.16
