Senior HR Business Partner

What you'll do 

  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders, providing data-driven insights and strategic counsel on critical business, organizational, talent, and workforce challenges. 

  • Lead impactful people and organizational initiatives, tackling critical business challenges and transformational change across the organization. 

  • Ensure the implementation of the optimal organization design to enable the leadership team and the organization to scale 

  • Instill a culture that resonates with Adobe’s values of Create the Future, Own the Outcome, Raise the Bar, and Be Genuine 

  • Closely partner with other Corporate Functions, such as Finance, Sales Operations and Enablement, to support our business objectives. 

  • Provide partnership and support in the areas of organizational development including succession strategy, talent development, employee engagement, and change management processes 

  • Partner with COEs to drive workforce planning initiatives including alignment of resources to the top priorities, and building capabilities needed to achieve the stated vision and strategy including the investment in talent 

  • Partner with Talent Development to identify and develop key talent and ensure they are provided with experiences that enable development and retention.  

  • Build performance management capabilities by coaching leaders to effectively address performance issues and deliver effective feedback to foster employee development and differentiate performance 

 

What you need to succeed 

  • 10+ years of HR experience, including serving as an HR Business Partner to senior leaders in a global, matrixed organization  

  • Strong business insight, connecting people strategies to company priorities  

  • Proven experience operating in the Japan market, with strong understanding of local business dynamics, culture, and stakeholder expectations. 

  • Proven experience in organizational development and leading through change  

  • Proven ability to develop relationships and partnerships (internal and external) at all levels of the organization, including influencing and coaching senior leaders  

  • Ability to influence across levels, roles, cultures, and geographies. Experience designing, implementing, and leading large initiatives.  

  • Strategic outlook with a proactive problem-solving approach, agility to navigate ambiguity and prioritize effectively  

  • Energy, drive and commitment to the task. Speed and agility is critical.  

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills both in English and Japanese
