About the role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and develop software engineering teams delivering CRM product features and customer implementations on the Microsoft stack. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this leader will coach the team, strengthen delivery practices, and create a multiplying effect on team performance.
This is a hybrid role based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Candidates must be able to work from Vancouver as required.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage an engineering team delivering CRM product features and customer implementations on the Microsoft stack.
- Establish strong Agile and Scrum rhythms across planning, standups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard engineers while ensuring the team has the skills and capacity to meet delivery commitments.
- Set clear goals and expectations, run effective one-on-ones, provide timely feedback, conduct performance reviews, and create career-development plans.
- Improve the team’s use of AI tools through practical productivity and quality guidelines, training, responsible adoption, and alignment with security and compliance requirements.
- Focus on multiplying the team’s output through leadership, coaching, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing and developing software engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven impact on the development of complex or fast-growing systems.
- Ability to align people behind shared goals and translate objectives into clear outcomes.
- Strong technical background with Microsoft technologies, including C#, .NET, and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum delivery practices.
