Essential Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot faulty equipment, determine repair procedure.
- Perform required repairs to mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and combustion equipment utilized at facility.
- Perform regular PM services on facility equipment as assigned.
- Operate powered industrial equipment (including, but not limited to, Forklifts, Vertical Scissor Lifts, Aerial Man Lifts, etc.)
- Attain/maintain certifications (LOTO, Working at heights, etc.) in accordance with Company/HSE policy. Valid United States issued Driver’s License in required.
- Attain the capability to use fabrication tools safely and correctly (Oxygen/Acetylene Torch, Plasma Cutter, Grinders, MIG/Stick welding.)
- Must be able to comfortably work at heights of more than 50ft.
- Utilize safe habits, utilize appropriate PPE.
- Comply with all NOV policies.
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–3 years of maintenance/mechanical or related work experience.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Valid US driver's license.
- Reliable/Dependable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to consistently work long hours, including evenings, weekends, or Holidays if needed.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills for completing work orders, maintenance logs or other activities as assigned.
