Business Development Representative

Job Purpose

The Business Development Representative (BDR), LATAM is responsible for driving pipeline development and supporting new business growth across Latin America. Based in Mexico and working remotely, this role works in close alignment with the regional Sales organization while reporting into the Marketing team and partnering closely with the LATAM Marketing Manager.

The BDR serves as a critical link between Marketing and Sales by evaluating inbound leads, identifying and qualifying prospective opportunities, executing outbound prospecting campaigns, and scheduling meetings that create qualified sales conversations. Success in this role is measured by the ability to generate and qualify pipeline, accelerate lead progression, improve conversion rates, and create meaningful engagement opportunities for ACI's New Business sales teams.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with LATAM sales leaders, LATAM Marketing Manager and regional New Business sales teams to support pipeline generation and revenue growth.

  • Evaluate inbound leads and inquiries to determine qualification, business fit, buying intent, and readiness for sales engagement.

  • Conduct outreach to prospective customers through phone, email, social media, and other channels to generate qualified meetings and opportunities.

  • Execute targeted outbound prospecting campaigns aligned with regional sales priorities and account-based marketing initiatives.

  • Leverage AI-powered sales, research, and productivity tools to scale prospecting activities, identify buying signals, prioritize opportunities, personalize outreach, automate administrative tasks, and increase the effectiveness of pipeline generation efforts while adhering to ACI security, privacy, and governance standards.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified prospects and sales representatives.

  • Build and manage prospect lists in collaboration with regional sales and marketing teams.

  • Support lead nurturing activities and ensure timely follow-up on marketing-generated leads.

  • Maintain accurate lead, contact, activity, and opportunity records within Salesforce and other sales and marketing platforms.

  • Monitor lead progression and work closely with sales teams to improve conversion rates and pipeline velocity.

  • Provide feedback to Marketing regarding campaign effectiveness, lead quality, messaging, and market trends.

  • Track and report on key business development metrics, including outreach activity, meetings generated, qualified opportunities, and pipeline contribution.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Understand and adhere to all Corporate Policies, including but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

     

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales development, lead generation, inside sales, or related B2B sales roles.

  • Proven experience generating and qualifying sales opportunities.

  • Experience supporting enterprise sales organizations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Results-oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to achieve activity and pipeline goals.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)

  • Experience within payments, banking, fintech, software, SaaS, or technology industries.

  • Experience supporting Latin American markets.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM.

  • Experience using HubSpot, Demandbase, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar prospecting and marketing technologies.

  • Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs.

  • Experience using AI-powered sales and business development platforms to enhance prospecting, account research, customer engagement, and pipeline development.

 

 

 

Work Environment: 

  • Remote/telecommuter position based in Mexico.

  • Standard work environment.
  • Majority of time spent on a PC.
  • Regular collaboration with sales and marketing teams across Latin America and North America.

  • Travel may be required for sales meetings, events, and internal planning sessions (up to 15%).
