Job Description

 

 Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a strong sense of purpose and passion for Project Management, including Process & Platform Re-engineering, Workflow and Workbench, use of AI with the aim of enhancing productivity and improving employee and customer journeys.
  • Collaborate as a team player with stakeholders to clarify and prioritize requirements, working closely with the country /group Tech team to facilitate the development, testing, and implementation of technology solutions, including SIT, UAT, and system enhancements.
  • Effectively manage communication and engagement with senior-level domain leads and working-level teams. Identify and address issues and conflicts within the program, projects, and platforms, and if necessary, with other stakeholders.
  • Take responsibility for staff engagement and enhancing the employee journey.
  • Support T&O strategy planning, transformation agenda, and handle ad-hoc tasks as required by the business.
  • Experiment with and develop use cases for future-ready technology to improve employee and customer experiences.
  • Risk & Compliance Management
    • Ensure all projects comply with banking regulations and internal policies
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
    • Work closely with Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams
  • Quality Assurance & Governance
    • Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks
    • Maintain project documentation and audit trails
    • Facilitate project review meetings and post-implementation evaluations

Qualifications

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Tech project management, preferably in banking or financial services
  • Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale projects
  • Experience in regulatory-driven environments is highly preferred

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of:
    • Core banking systems and financial applications
    • Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
    • IT infrastructure and systems integration
  • Familiarity with:
    • Agile / Scrum methodologies
    • Project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project)
  • Basic knowledge of:
    • Cybersecurity principles
    • Data management and cloud environments
  • Good time management to deliver the requirement goal, project key milestone in time. For any issue, concerns can be raised, escalated earlier to meeting the project/task timeline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-organized, with clear thinking and a risk-oriented profile.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and influence decision-making with senior management.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
