We are seeking an organised, personable Insurance Administrator to join our team at Pride Referrals on a full-time basis to cover 12 months.

Pride Veterinary Centre is a multi-disciplinary veterinary referral centre that is the central small animal hospital for the Scarsdale Veterinary group, as well as offering referral services for other veterinary practices across the midlands and beyond. The practice offers specialist services in Anaesthesia, Diagnostic Imaging, Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Exotics and Dermatology. The hospital offers 24/7 veterinary care supported by our on-site ‘vets at night’ team and has a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment. We work closely with the University of Nottingham with students rotating through our referral services. Scarsdale Vets is part of the largest veterinary group in Europe, IVC Evidensia and is a key site within the groups UK activities.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract and working hours will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday between the Office opening hours of 8am and 5pm.  

Key Responsibilities

*Processing direct claim insurance requests for both first opinion and multidiscipline referral cases for small animals *Processing insurance claims after treatment *Monitoring claims through to settlement of the claim and liaising with multiple insurance companies, clients and other vet practices.
