As an Acceleration Center - Assurance Sectors AWM- Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing independent assessments of financial statements and internal controls, enhancing the credibility of information for stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will focus on evaluating compliance with regulations and assessing governance and risk management processes. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and navigate complex situations to grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work while embracing ambiguity and using these moments as opportunities for growth.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will utilize a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems. Responsibilities
- Conducting independent assessments of financial statements and internal controls to enhance credibility and reliability
- Evaluating compliance with regulations and assessing governance and risk management processes
- Obtaining reasonable assurance about the accuracy of financial statements and identifying potential misstatements
- Utilizing auditing methodologies and standards to perform thorough financial audits
- Analyzing financial transactions and disclosures to provide insights and recommendations
- Applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) in audit processes
- Reviewing and verifying financial documents to support audit conclusions
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to identify risks and opportunities
- Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and deliver quality audit services
- Developing and maintaining client relationships to foster trust and transparency
- Mentoring junior team members and guiding them in audit methodologies and practices
- Leveraging data analysis and visualization tools to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
