Overtime is looking for an experienced production leader to serve as Head of Production Management and oversee the end-to-end production management lifecycle across our leagues, branded content, and live events.

As the leader of Overtime’s Production Management team, you’ll oversee the people, budgets, logistics, and operational planning that bring our productions to life. You’ll set the direction for the team and ensure every production is properly staffed, budgeted, planned, and executed.

This role will manage a complex and constantly evolving production calendar across Overtime’s  leagues, branded content shoots, content production, and events. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across the organization, league leadership, and external partners to develop budgets and production plans, manage resources, identify risks, and solve problems before they impact execution.

We’re looking for someone who understands every stage of production and can balance senior-level department leadership with hands-on production management. The right person is highly organized, financially disciplined, calm under pressure, and comfortable leading teams through fast-moving, complex productions.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead Overtime’s Production Management department, including managing, coaching, and developing the team
  • Oversee production management across Overtime’s leagues, branded content shoots, live events, and content productions
  • Own complex production budgets from initial planning and forecasting through final reconciliation
  • Partner with league, Content Operations, and production leadership to develop production plans, schedules, and staffing plans
  • Serve as the primary Production Management partner to Finance, working closely to build budgets, update forecasts, track spending, and communicate changes and risks
  • Assign Production Management resources across leagues and projects based on production complexity, schedules, and team capacity
  • Lead freelance staffing and vendor management, including sourcing, rates, negotiations, and production agreements
  • Partner with Legal on contracts, insurance requirements, permits, location agreements, releases, certificates of insurance, and other required production documentation
  • Provide hands-on production management and serve as the main escalation point for production management issues across Overtime’s productions
  • Travel as needed to support Overtime’s leagues and events, with significant on-site involvement for OT7 and other productions

Who You Are
  • 10+ years of production management or production operations experience, with significant experience supporting live sports, branded content, live events, broadcast, and large-scale field productions
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing production-management teams
  • Deep experience owning complex production budgets from planning through reconciliation
  • Proven ability to manage multiple leagues, productions, and large-scale projects simultaneously
  • Extensive knowledge of production planning, staffing, logistics, travel, vendor management, and on-site execution
  • You thrive in fast-moving, high-change environments and can adapt quickly to last-minute requests, shifting priorities, and late-stage production or budget changes without losing momentum
  • Experience leading Production Managers, Coordinators, freelance personnel, and external production partners
  • Comfortable reviewing and challenging budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and production assumptions
  • Experienced working with crewing companies, venues, facilities, travel partners, vendors, and other third-party providers
  • Working knowledge of union agreements, labor rules, wage and hour requirements, and other employment laws that affect production crews
  • An excellent cross-functional partner who can build strong relationships with Finance, production teams, league leadership, executives, creative teams, and external partners
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain visibility across a large and constantly changing production calendar
  • A collaborative, hands-on leader who is willing to jump in and help the team solve problems when needed
  • Willing and able to travel and work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
