About the Role:
As the Senior Manager, Revenue Operations, you will define the strategic roadmap for Revenue Operations while remaining deeply involved in the execution of the initiatives that drive scalable revenue growth. You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and executive leadership to identify opportunities, solve complex operational challenges, and translate business priorities into actionable programs.
This role balances strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will own critical Revenue Operations initiatives from concept through implementation, leveraging data, technology, and cross-functional collaboration to improve forecasting, sales productivity, process efficiency, and business performance. Success in this role requires the ability to move seamlessly between executive-level strategy discussions and detailed operational execution.
You will be responsible for establishing scalable processes, optimizing the revenue technology ecosystem, and delivering data-driven insights that improve organizational performance. This role will also evaluate and implement AI-powered capabilities that enhance forecasting, automation, reporting, and decision-making while promoting responsible AI adoption across the revenue organization.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Leadership and Planning:
Develop and maintain the Revenue Operations roadmap, balancing long-term strategic initiatives with evolving business priorities.
Partner with VP and executive leaders to align Revenue Operations initiatives with company growth objectives and GTM strategy.
Translate business goals into scalable operational programs, processes, and frameworks that improve organizational effectiveness.
Influence cross-functional stakeholders through data-driven recommendations, business cases, and operational expertise.
Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, organizational capacity, and strategic objectives while ensuring successful execution.
Revenue Operations & Process Optimization:
Personally lead complex Revenue Operations initiatives from discovery through implementation.
Design, optimize, and scale revenue processes across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
Evaluate existing workflows, policies, and systems to identify bottlenecks and implement sustainable process improvements.
Partner with GTM teams to improve lead management, routing, qualification, pipeline health, pricing, and deal desk processes.
Drive adoption of operational best practices and monitor adherence to established processes.
Forecasting, Analytics & Business Insights:
Develop accurate revenue forecasts, capacity models, and operational plans in partnership with Finance and GTM leadership.
Build executive dashboards, reporting, and performance metrics that provide visibility into revenue performance and operational health.
Analyze sales, marketing, and customer data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle.
Translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
Continuously improve reporting methodologies and forecasting accuracy.
Technology Strategy & AI Enablement:
Serve as the functional owner of the Revenue Operations technology ecosystem, including CRM, sales engagement, and AI-enabled platforms.
Evaluate, implement, and optimize technology solutions that improve automation, data quality, productivity, and collaboration.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI for forecasting, reporting, pipeline analysis, workflow automation, and operational decision-making.
Partner with IT and business stakeholders to prioritize technology enhancements and integrations.
Promote responsible AI adoption by establishing practical governance and best practices for AI-enabled workflows.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Team Oversight: Directly supervise a team to oversee their day-to-day activities and ensure alignment with company goals and standards.
Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and provide constructive feedback to foster professional development and high-quality work.
Hiring and Training: Play an active role in hiring new team members as needed. Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Foster Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration across the department and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of business priorities.
Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including managing work schedules, balancing workloads, and ensuring the team has the necessary tools and information to perform their roles efficiently.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
Demonstrated success developing Revenue Operations strategy while personally executing complex, cross-functional initiatives within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
Strong ability to influence VP and executive stakeholders through data-driven recommendations and trusted business partnership.
Deep expertise with Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, sales engagement tools, business intelligence platforms, and AI-enabled technologies.
Strong understanding of forecasting, pipeline management, revenue analytics, sales productivity, territory planning, and GTM operations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, and reporting tools.
Education and Experience:
8+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Operations, or a related function, preferably within a B2B SaaS organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
