The Country Leader will have overall responsibility HBS Services Operations for the region. This role is P&L responsible for $16m revenue. A highly capable communicator and manager, you will have proven service management and people management experience. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and influencers including sales, operations, supply chain and commercial departments. A strong MOS will be implemented to sales, operations, HR & business support functions in Romania. A key element to this role is to implement and drive a clear growth & expansion of wallet strategy for the Norway business, beyond Fire Systems maintenance activities. Co-ordination with sales and operations teams to ensure orders growth whilst controlling commercial risk, including customer retention & service bank growth.

You will achieve required orders, revenue and margin targets. Key program performance metrics include safety, forecast accuracy, margin expansion, cashflow, customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction. 

  • Ensure team are effectively planning work to deliver and optimise operational efficiencies
  • Ensure team are using company tools and processes 
  • Responsible for performance management of direct reports
  • Ensure adherence to contract, schedule, cost, regulatory agency and international trade compliance requirements.
  • Extensive risk/opportunity analysis with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue and net investment/operating income targets.
  • Identify opportunities and execute plans to improve program performance.
  • Coordination and integration with Product/Service management teams.
  • Manage and maintain customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and contract retention are prioritised
  • Identify and support new business
  • Effective coaching/mentoring skills, ability to build effective teams committed to organizational goals, foster collaboration among team members and between teams.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategy and growth plans
  • Ensure applicable local and industry codes and standards are upheld.
  • Working closely with the HSE representative you will ensure a safe and healthy work environment across all offices through effective communication and training.
  • Be the change management leader for team and aggressively implement agreed to initiatives
  • Ensures contracts & SPOT works are resourced properly.  Develops effective partnerships with subcontractors/ end users to ensure an adequate pool of resources is available. 
  • Participate in estimate review process prior to jobs or contracts being quoted to ensure estimates are correct and that the work is achievable from a technical perspective.  Ensure the team are carrying out appropriate checks for subcontractors, where applicable, are complete and documented.
  • Ensure all safety activities are adhered to and participates in site risk review process 

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Significant experience in Operations Management, leading a Team, strong business acumen and customer focus.
  • Bachelor or higher degree in Engineering, Business, Contracts/Legal, Operations, or related field. In lieu of a degree, significant experience in Operations Management, Business Management, Engineering, Sales, Operations, Finance, Contracts, and Customer Support. Some related business experience, including but not limited to Operations Management, Program Management, Business Management, Engineering, Sales, Operations, Finance, Contracts, and Customer Support.
  • Ability to understand financial data and identify appropriate actions indicated by variances to ensure key metrics are achieved.
