We seek those who share our commitment to customer service, innovation, and ingenuity.Role Overview:We are searching for an innovative Mechanical Engineer to be part of a fast-growing organization that develops state-of-the-art generators and automatic transfer switches. This position serves as the mechanical engineering contributor to design concepts, prototype development, detailed design, product validation and support in launching products. We are a fast-paced organization and the ability to multitask within this environment successfully is important. The Mechanical Engineer will report directly to the Integration Engineering Manager and will work a hybrid schedule based out of Houston, TX.Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the mechanical engineering team, providing technical and design input, as well as engineering and product support. Contribute to the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems and components.Participate in the development of innovative system level concepts and designs that meet project and cost targets. Interface with suppliers and prototype vendors to obtain quotes, make design changes and execute project initiatives, as necessary.Create and modify detailed drawings, draft conceptual models from layouts, rough sketches, or discussions. Be creative in taking an idea and studying the details before converting it into a design.Contribute in the definition of the project scope and deliverables that align with the project goals and strategies across the organization. Create, update, and maintain project documentation including 3D Model, 2D drawings, product specifications, and testing requirements. Provide engineering support to the production, quality, testing, documentation, and any other engineering rated task involving the production of ERock Products.Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of the Company’s management.
