St. Francis Hospital opened in 2008 to keep pace with the growing needs of the Colorado Springs' community on the north side of the city. St. Francis Hospital features 340-beds and offers a modern Birth Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Cancer Center, Emergency Department, Level III Trauma Center, Imaging Services, Acute Inpatient Rehab, Surgical Services and Critical Care Unit. It also serves as southern Colorado's home base for the Flight For Life Colorado air medical transport service. We value incredible people with incredible skills – but your commitment to a greater cause is something we value even more.  In this role as a Physical Therapist (PT), you will be responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation. As a Physical Therapist you will also utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. While in this position you will assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. Job Requirements In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified Physical Therapist candidates will need the following: Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferredPrior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferredBachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy requiredMaster's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, preferredCurrent Colorado state licensure as a Physical Therapist requiredBLS through the American Heart Association requiredDry Needling Certification or Education preferredOnly required if performing the Dry Needling function: Dry Needling Certification or Education.Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly This is an inpatient role that offers a premium rate for all hours worked. The position requires coverage for one weekend every four weeks. Additionally, our PRN team members rotate holiday coverage, with a typical expectation of one summer and one winter holiday per year.
