Job Description
As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Coral Gables, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position supports a professional environment through routine patrols, observation, and timely reporting. - Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a municipal government location.
- Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facilities, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, documenting incidents, irregularities, and maintenance-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
- Support a professional environment by providing directions, assisting with access-control procedures, and maintaining clear communication with site representatives and emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
