Create/maintain procedures/processes that continuously improve nVent’ s compliance and sustainability programLead all aspects of the external partner’s collection of compliance and sustainability information from nVent suppliers of raw materials, parts, and private labelled productsProvide and maintain compliance and sustainability status at the part level in nVent data systems such as ERP, PLM, product syndication database, and monitor systems for data integrity and qualityCreate and maintain nVent’ s Product Compliance Declarations and ensure they are available to customers on nVent websites, in nVent’s distributor sites, and others as neededFacilitate campaigns and ERP reporting schemesDevelop and deliver product compliance training where neededOversight of the SDS program, including third-party collaborationUnderstand and align with new sustainability regulations as requested and required by lawEnsure partnership and continual success with our third-party solution providersYou have:Academic background in Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental science, chemistry, engineering, or other applicable related degree with at least 3 years in a similar role is preferred and applicable. An Associate's degree with 5 plus years of relevant experience may be consideredPrevious experience in or with 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing value stream engineering, product manufacturing, or product design is a plus SkillsFirm understanding of international, federal, and state directives and regulation landscape with knowledge of future requirements and ability to interpret, analyze, and communicate business impactsFamiliarity and experience with product compliance and sustainability within industrial manufacturing preferredHighly organized and skilled in data management and analysis toolsWell-developed problem-solving, systems thinking, quantitative, and diligent critical thinking skills Essential project management skills along with skills like communication, leadership, and adaptability to deliver projects on time. Key proficiencies include planning for long-term goals, managing relationships, organization, and proficiency in tools.
