Pratt & Whitney, an RTX Company, is looking for a .NET ASP and Angular Full-Stack developer to join our Digital Technology (DT) Digital Aftermarket Services team. This individual will be involved in the delivery of developing, enhancing, and implementing software solutions within Pratt & Whitney’s App Dev Services Portfolio, as well as integrations with other enterprise products. This role will support the development of back-end and web-based solutions, troubleshooting of problems related to App Dev Services applications, resolving systems integration and compatibility issues, and supporting the application life cycle Centre of Excellence. due to customer locations in different time zones, customer meetings can occur outside normal business work hours.

The Digital Aftermarket Services team at Pratt and Whitney is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who will be excited in delivering digital solutions within our App Dev Services Portfolio as it relates to supporting our aftermarket operations worldwide. Specific focus includes the development of enhancements to our systems and troubleshooting production and preproduction system changes.

• As a Senior MRO Application Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing enterprise web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions while following industry best practices in software architecture, security, and performance.

• Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack software development.
• Strong experience developing enterprise applications using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, Angular, and SQL Server.

• Backend Development
• Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Core.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and software design patterns.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and enterprise web applications.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming, multithreading, and thread-safe application development.
• Experience implementing dependency injection, middleware, and application lifecycle management.
• Experience with authentication and authorization, including: Authentication Local Authentication, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC),Secure session management & Secure API development
• Experience with secure coding practices, application performance tuning, and code optimization.
• Frontend Development
• Strong experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience building responsive web applications using Bootstrap and Angular Material.
• Experience integrating Angular applications with REST APIs using RxJS.
• Strong understanding of Angular architecture, routing, lazy loading, reusable components, and state management.
• Knowledge of client-side validation, accessibility standards, cross-browser compatibility, and frontend performance optimization.
• Experience with legacy technologies such as jQuery and Knockout.js is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of .NET Core Dependency Injection and Inversion of Control (IoC) principles.
• Integration & Enterprise ServicesDatabase
• Strong expertise with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Extensive experience with Entity Framework and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience developing and optimizing: Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, Complex SQL queries
• Strong understanding of indexing strategies, execution plans, transactions, locking, concurrency, and performance tuning.
• Dependency Injection
• Experience implementing dependency injection using Ninject in .NET Framework applications.
• Experience integrating Azure Blob Storage and Azure File Shares.
• Hands-on experience using Redis for distributed caching and session management.
• Experience integrating SFTP for secure file transfer, batch processing, and data exchange.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems while ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with DevSecOps practices, CI CD pipelines, and release management.
• Familiarity with OWASP security guidelines and secure coding best practices.
• Strong knowledge of frontend performance optimization and accessibility standards.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum development environments.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional teams.
