R&D Co-Op- Applicators Group

The R&D Engineering Co-op position is for our Applicators Group. The co-op will be assigned a mentor and at least two “real world” projects to complete during their assignment. We are looking for innovative thinkers that are proven problem solvers. This position is for a minimum of 8 months starting in January 2027 and ending in August 2027. 

This individual would be expected to become skilled at project engineering and new product development. They would be responsible for

  • Assisting in developing new applicator products 
  • Testing both new products and released products 
  • Assisting with sustaining engineering projects
  • Participate in bi-weekly and quarterly meetings presenting their work as needed
  • Other duties as assigned 

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be currently enrolled in a college or university at the time of the Co-op program
  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering technology with junior status or higher
  • Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, 2D/3D CAD tools [SolidWorks, AutoCAD] 
  • Understanding of GD&T and Prototyping and follow test protocols and record results 
  • Must be willing to work up to 40 hours per week for 8 months, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Currently holding a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Currently a rising senior in bachelor degree program
