Asset Manager

We currently have an opportunity for an Asset Manager to join our Health and Education, supporting WA Schools and QEII Carpark, playing a key role in delivering strategic asset maintenance management, compliance and lifecycle planning across a diverse social infrastructure portfolio. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

 

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Deliver asset maintenance management strategies, lifecycle management plans, asset condition assessments and replacement cycle forecasts across the portfolio. 

  • Analyse asset data and prepare recommendation reports to support maintenance planning, lifecycle decision-making, asset replacement and critical infrastructure performance. 

  • Manage compliance obligations, statutory requirements and asset management frameworks to ensure contractual requirements are met. 

  • Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams, supporting the effective management of building services, systems and facilities infrastructure.  

  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrated Asset Management and Lifecycle Management experience is essential, including asset condition assessments, lifecycle planning, replacement forecasting and long-term asset optimisation. 

  • Experience managing assets across complex facilities, social infrastructure portfolios or similar operational environments. 

  • Strong understanding of ISO55000 principles and the ability to apply asset management best practice within an operational environment. 

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience providing technical advice, reports and recommendations to clients and operational teams. 

  • Qualifications in Asset Management, Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management or a related discipline are highly regarded. Trade-qualified professionals with relevant asset management experience are encouraged to apply.
