As a Deals Advisory - AI Engineer - Senior Associate, you will join our AI Research team, serving as a pivotal member in exploring AI technologies and methodologies relevant to both our business and clients. Within our Deals practice, you will engage in a collaborative environment that values curiosity and practical problem-solving, focusing on translating AI developments into impactful insights for the firm and our clients. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems, mentor junior team members, and maintain professional standards. You will build meaningful client connections and develop a deeper understanding of the business context, navigating complexity and embracing ambiguity to deliver quality work.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will take technical ownership, thrive in fast-paced environments, and explore AI capabilities through structured experimentation. You will design and run experiments to evaluate emerging AI tools, document outcomes, and produce client-ready insights. Your work will involve rapid hands-on experimentation with AI technologies to understand their applicability and limitations, turning insights into practical perspectives. Responsibilities

- Conducting rapid experiments to evaluate emerging AI tools, models, and techniques
- Designing clear hypotheses, success metrics, and evaluation criteria for AI experiments
- Documenting experiment outcomes, key learnings, and limitations for internal stakeholders and clients
- Producing client-ready insights and supporting technical demos and deep dive sessions
- Monitoring, evaluating, and experimenting with emerging AI technologies and trends
- Utilizing Python to write maintainable code following best practices
- Building agents using frameworks like LangGraph, AutoGen, and CrewAI
- Deploying machine learning workloads to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Implementing automated testing pipelines for model performance
- Applying knowledge of model optimization techniques, including quantization and distillation
- Leveraging experience with large language models and APIs for platforms like Azure and OpenAI
- Collaborating with the AI Research team to translate AI developments into impactful thought leadership

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Experience in fine-tuning LLMs using Parameter Efficient Fine Tuning techniques such as LoRa
- Knowledge of model optimization techniques including quantization and distillation
- Experience with agent observability tooling such as Langfuse
- Comfortable using Databricks
- Knowledge in reinforcement learning
- Proficient in Python, including asynchronous programming, multithreading, and writing maintainable code
- Ability to build automated testing pipelines for model performance
