Warehouse Specialist

**This position starts in Canby, Oregon, with a scheduled relocation to Tualatin, Oregon by the end of the year. **

Responsible for handling and processing warehouse work orders, purchase orders and sales orders, transport inventory, and maintain stock in warehouses.

Key Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Operates powered industrial forklift to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders.
  • Pulls and stages orders for shipment.
  • Fill and transact work orders, purchase orders and sales orders.
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Replenish flow line materials and receive completed devices.
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
  • Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
  • Follows standard operating procedures.
  • Transact inventory movements using inventory control system.
  • Fill independent demands for material requisitions.
  • Ensure FIFO is followed for all transactions.
  • Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
  • Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
  • Unload items to be stocked in warehouses and or storage yards.
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
  • Perform domestic and international shipping activities.
  • Package and stock finished goods items.
  • Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

  • Utilizes common-sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
  • Plans the time, method, manner, and/or performance sequence of own work. 
  • Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
  • Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.
  • Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
 Education and Experience
  • Equivalent of four years of high school (preferred).
 Computer Skills
  • Basic
Certificates and Licenses
  • Forklift Certification.
 PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
  • While performing the functions of this job, the employee is:
  • Continually required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Regularly required to sit or stand and to walk.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
