Job Description
Main responsibilities and deliverables:
- Ensure independently month/year end close activities and MMC (forecast) process through:
- financial data is accurate and following Experian's accounting policies and IFRS
- correct balance sheet accounts for respective area, providing complete and informative reconciliations/analysis
- Support in the development and control of the annual operating budget within the assigned region / area
- Provide pre-defined (monthly, quarterly and annual) and ad hoc management information reporting withaccurate views per BUs / market financial performance and analysis. Scrutiny and understanding of data froma variety of sources to ensure consistency and accuracy of reporting
Financial Analysis & Performance Management
- Analyse financial results against budget, forecast, and prior periods; perform variance analysis and explainfinancial movements aligning to commercial and plans and trends
- Identify costs, margins, and productivity; monitor performance, Main Performance Indicatiors and financialmetricsTranslate financial data into meaningful business insights; provide clear commentary explainingfinancial performance. Highlight main goals, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to understand performance; challenge assumptions and support informed decision-making
- Assembling, analysing and reporting financial information in response to requests from the wider finance functionand the business
- Contribute to the optimisation of current processes and demonstrating continuous improvement mindset
- Act with due skill, care, diligence and integrity in carrying out all finance responsibilities
Qualifications
You should hold at least one of the following professional qualifications:
- ACCA
- CIMA
- CFA
