Projects often involve hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain analyses, detention/water quality BMP design, stream restoration, bridge scour, trail design, stormwater management plans, MS4 compliance, and water rights. The ideal candidate will have project engineering experience and be eager to continue transitioning into a future project management role.We do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field6-12 years of experience in stormwater engineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or ability to obtain upon hire, and have experience in providing engineering services the statePractical application of various H&H software, including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and XPSWMMAt least 3 years of experience in the following:Mentoring and leading junior engineers in technical and non-technical aspects of stormwater engineeringMust possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travelPreferred Qualifications:At least 3-5 years of experience in the following:Development and preparation drainage reports, Letters of Map Revision for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and stormwater designCivil design and site grading/layoutAutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GISConstruction oversight of stormwater project installationsAdditional InformationCompensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise, typical salary range for this position in California is $85k-105k, DOEQ. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package.
