This position is responsible for providing the inside sales co-ordination link primarily with key UK and other regional based customers. To understand the environmental and OH&S responsibilities of the role and to fulfil their environmental and OH&S requirements as described in the company SEMS policies. Our aim is to be the “best at what we do” continually improving our standards and customer support
- Key customer account responsibility, order receipt, contract review, material status
- Monthly customer order book alignment
- Update customer order status report for key accounts, as required
- Support management of customer forecast data
- Liaise daily with Planning & Procurement team to ensure Supply Chain supports customer order book demand and buffer levels.
- Liaise daily with Logistics team regarding customer shipments
- Ensuring co-ordination and timely replies to all customer queries in accordance with business requirements.
- Providing commercial and administrative support to the Management and Commercial team.
- Preparation of customer quotations including spot sales business.
- Perform any other reasonable requests made by the Company for which you have the necessary training and experience.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment, using integrated ERP systems - SAP experience is preferable – Order to Cash
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of working within a busy sales department
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good Planning and Organizing skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work on own initiative and be self-motivated and work as part of a team
- Time management
