About the Role
As a Security Technician, you will play a key role in providing technical support, maintenance, fault resolution, and small project works for Honeywell security systems across the Eastern Goldfields Regional Prison (EGRP) in Kalgoorlie.
This role is hands on, diverse, and ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, autonomy, and working within a secure, high-performance environment.
- Perform day to day service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party security equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults on security head-end systems
- Configure software for EBI (security modules only), DVM, ECAS, CCTV, IP Intercoms
- Provide exceptional technical support and customer service to onsite clients
- Maintain accurate site documentation and quality assurance records
- Participate in small to medium security installation projects, including subcontractor coordination
- Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and within contract requirements
- Assist with audits, inspections, and compliance reporting
- Support after-hours callout roster when required
