Implements strategic goals in the commissioning of multiple projects and other design and engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards. Connects team with stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to communicate expectations and ensure reports are provided on project updates. Reviews analyses of key performance indicators (KPIs) throughout systems testing and innovates solutions to address observed trends or anomalies. Ensures quality and safety standards are aligned with industry standards and implemented to ensure safety throughout project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management-Strategy Alignment:
-Implements strategic goals in the commissioning of multiple projects and other design and engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards.
-Provides expert technical guidance in contract administration including generation and review of contracts, change orders, cost forecasts, and other pertinent documents.
-Mentors peers to align cross-functional teams and secure the budget and resources required for timely project completion.
Project Management-Relationship Management:
-Connects team with stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to communicate expectations and ensure reports are provided on project updates.
Project Management-Technical Documentation:
-Provides expertise in the development of commissioning scripts and related technical documentation.
-Acts as a trusted advisor in collaborations with the general contractor to develop Systems Manuals documentation to serve as a reference for Data Center Operations personnel.
Systems Design & Specifications:
-Serves as a thought leader in collaborations with engineering teams to create data center designs and specifications that align to operations and reliability requirements (e.g., power capacity, cooling systems), ensuring electrical and mechanical critical systems (e.g., electrical and mechanical plant, life safety, fire suppression systems, and control systems) are incorporated.
Implementation-Testing:
-Reviews analyses of key performance indicators (KPIs) throughout systems testing and innovates solutions to address observed trends or anomalies.
Implementation-Troubleshooting/ Issue Resolution:
-Coaches peers to resolve issues of varying complexity with implementing mechanical and electrical systems.
-Analyzes the root causes of common and repeating cases of issues to identify innovative, long-term solutions.
-Ensures that best practices to troubleshoot and mitigate issues and reduce recurrence are updated with industry standards by aligning with major stakeholders.
Implementation-Quality & Safety:
-Ensures quality and safety standards are aligned with industry standards and implemented to ensure safety throughout project lifecycle.
-Aligns training programs for teams on safety standards to the strategic direction and organizational standards.
-Researches and communicates updates to industry standards and best practices.
-Engages with external stakeholders and vendors to facilitate a common understanding of quality and safety guidelines, and enforces compliance.
-Reports and determines strategy to address safety and security issues as they arise.

Cultivates strategic partnerships with senior business leaders, stakeholders, and/or customers, pursuing opportunities for expanding partnerships and ensuring long-term organizational success. Promotes a culture of transparency and inclusivity where all voices are valued and respected.
Problem Solving:
-Serves as a technical expert and resource across the line of business to resolve high-impact, ambiguous, or novel issues using advanced methodologies and techniques. Drives strategic problem-solving initiatives, leveraging information and/or data from wide-ranging sources to ensure efficient resolution and prevent recurrence.
Continuous Learning:
-Leverages deep expertise of the industry and multiple areas to serve as a thought leader within Oracle and to mentor other leaders and experts. Contributes to the advancement of the field or industry through thought leadership (e.g., conference presentations, white papers, research contributions). Continuously builds expertise by anticipating future trends, technologies, and industry standards to develop best practices and strategic goals that position the line of business as an industry leader. -Leads and influences the design of innovative and high-impact processes and approaches to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness across the line of business. Fosters a culture of idea generation and seeking feedback on solutions across departments and functions for continued improvement.
Performance and Development:
-Provides thought leadership regarding organizational talent strategy, collaborating with executive leadership and HR to anticipate talent needs based on industry forecast. Imparts strategic guidance to shape the talent development pipeline.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $146,300 to $306,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
