THE OPPORTUNITY

At Noetik, you will work alongside a highly technical interdisciplinary team tackling hard and impactful problems. We are looking for folks that are excited to engage deeply and also bring an immense urgency to make an impact.


In this role, you’ll work directly with a high-calibre histology and biosample operations team during an exciting period of exponential growth at Noetik. We are building a pan-cancer data set then expanding beyond oncology. Success in this role will require a determination to operate efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Efficiently reembedding and sectioning FFPE blocks
  • H&E or other specialty staining and imaging using various digital scanners
  • Additional histology responsibilities, which may include data entry, biosample storage, general maintenance of the area, or participating in creation of tissue microarrays
  • Serve as subject matter expert in histology workflows, including identifying needs and optimizing processes
  • Collaborating with team members to enable efficient histology operations to support data generation and analysis at scale


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of hands-on histology experience
  • Strong track record in exceeding expectations, with a drive for efficiency
  • Exceptional laboratory skills for sectioning and mounting FFPE tissue
  • Detail and quality oriented
  • Team player, eager to unblock bottlenecked steps
  • Experience within complex, fast-paced environments a plus
