Job Overview

We are looking for a Manager - Ecommerce Search to lead search marketing across a portfolio of 40+ brands. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing search campaigns across e-commerce marketplaces, quick commerce, and e-grocery platforms. The ideal candidate will drive visibility, sales, and ROAS through strong platform expertise, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence.

Core Responsibilities

Search Strategy & Campaign Management

  • Develop and execute search campaigns across key ad formats such as Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, PLA, and other marketplace-specific placements.
  • Build keyword strategies using structured segmentation methodologies and optimize targeting across category pages, competitor PDPs, and search placements.
  • Analyze search trends, keyword volumes, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities and guide planning.
  • Drive cross-category expansion, competitor conquesting, and new customer acquisition opportunities.
  • Collaborate with content and display teams to align paid search, organic visibility, and broader media plans.
  • Define creative asset requirements for search campaigns and coordinate with creative teams to ensure timely launches.

Performance Optimization & Analytics

  • Conduct regular campaign audits and performance reviews across platform dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Optimize bids, budgets, keywords, and targeting to maximize ROAS, sales, and visibility metrics.
  • Monitor and act on platform-specific KPIs such as Share of Voice (SOV), Glance Views, traffic, and conversions.
  • Utilize bid management and digital shelf tools (Pacvue, Stackline, Helium10, etc.) to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Track competitor activities, bidding trends, and market developments to provide actionable insights.
  • Communicate performance issues, optimization opportunities, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.

Operations & Budget Management

  • Manage advertising wallet balances and ensure uninterrupted campaign delivery.
  • Coordinate platform approvals, campaign setup processes, and stakeholder workflows.
  • Maintain accurate Proof of Execution (POE) documentation for reporting and billing purposes.
  • Monitor search budgets, pacing, and monthly financial reconciliations.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead internal performance reviews and quality checks before client presentations.
  • Participate in regular client and agency status meetings to provide campaign updates and resolve execution challenges.
  • Deliver monthly performance reports highlighting key insights, trends, and optimization opportunities.
  • Support quarterly and annual business reviews with search trends, platform updates, and strategic recommendations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of ROAS, Glance Views, and Share of Voice targets.
  • Quality and effectiveness of campaign setup and optimization.
  • Timely identification and resolution of performance issues.
  • Zero campaign disruptions due to operational or wallet-related issues.
  • Accurate budget management and POE compliance.
  • Proactive competitive intelligence and growth recommendations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Ecommerce Search, Retail Media, SEM, or Marketplace Advertising.
  • Strong expertise across e-commerce, quick-commerce, and e-grocery platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including:
    • XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS
    • Pivot Tables, Slicers, Conditional Formatting
    • Reporting dashboards and forecasting
  • Hands-on experience with bid management and digital shelf tools such as Pacvue, Stackline, Helium10, 1DS, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience managing budgets, campaign operations, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
