What You’ll Be Doing:

Accounts Payable Manager

Role Summary

The Accounts Payable (AP) Manager will lead and oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense (T&E) functions across the United States, India, and Philippines. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments, employee expense reimbursements, policy compliance, process governance, stakeholder management and continuous process improvement. The AP Manager will drive operational excellence through automation initiatives, strong internal controls, documentation management, and team leadership while supporting the organization's financial close and compliance objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable Operations Management

  • Manage the end-to-end AP process for multiple geographies including the US, India, and Philippines.

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payment runs, and expense reimbursements.

  • Monitor and manage payment schedules to optimize cash flow while meeting contractual obligations.

  • Oversee vendor account reconciliations and resolution of payment-related issues.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and company policies across all regions.

  • Partner with Procurement, Treasury, Finance, and Business teams to resolve operational challenges.

2. Employee Travel & Expense (T&E) Management

  • Manage the global employee expense reimbursement process.

  • Ensure accurate review and approval of employee expense claims in accordance with company policies.

  • Monitor policy compliance and identify exceptions, trends, and areas requiring corrective actions.

3. Policy Governance and Documentation

  • Own and maintain AP and T&E Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and control frameworks.

  • Periodically review and update Travel & Expense policies to align with business requirements, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.

  • Communicate policy updates effectively to employees and stakeholders.

  • Ensure process documentation remains current and audit-ready.

4. Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to automate AP and T&E processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.

  • Leverage system capabilities and emerging technologies to enhance AP operations and strengthen controls.

5. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of AP and expense management professionals.

  • Define team goals, monitor performance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for AP and T&E-related matters.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.

  • Professional qualification such as MBA Finance is preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Operations.

  • At least 5 years of people management experience.

  • Experience managing global AP and employee expense processes across multiple geographies.

Mandatory Requirements:
