Job Overview

The Corporate Legal Counsel is part of the General Counsel’s legal team, which is responsible for protecting the corporation’s best interests by identifying, administering, and managing all the corporation’s legal matters. This position reports directly to the General Counsel. It provides officers and employees with bilingual, professional, and ethical guidance in identifying critical, sensitive, and complex problems to which legal principles yield the greatest opportunities for minimizing risks and maximizing profits. The Corporate Legal Counsel works with outside attorneys and paralegals, generalists, and assistants. Providing creative, forward-looking solutions to complex legal issues is the goal. 

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree. 

• Juris Doctor degree.  

• Licensed to practice in California.  

• Member of the California State Bar in good standing. 

• 5+ years as a practicing attorney in a large law firm and/or in-house is required. 

• Healthcare experience preferred. 

• Real Estate, HR, and compliance experience is a plus.

Compensation

$194,460.70 - $243,075.88 annually
