Scopely is looking for a smart, technically strong, and process-adaptive Senior QA to join our Royal Lounge Casino team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis.

What You’ll Do
- Write, maintain, and execute test cases for studio games across mobile and web platforms, covering a broad range of devices, operating systems, and browsers.
- Perform functional and non-functional testing of mobile applications, including network traffic, API responses, and log analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Scrum teams, Producers, Developers, and QA Leads/Managers to ensure releases meet high quality standards.
- Communicate proactively with Developers and business stakeholders during defect triage to reduce defect ageing and drive timely resolution.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and provide corrective and preventive action plans.
- Work effectively in an Agile environment to support timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Identify quality trade-offs, project risks, and appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Develop a detailed understanding of studio games, including gameplay flows, player journeys, edge cases, and game-specific scenarios.
- Create and maintain QA documentation, including test cases, test plans, test reports, training material, and process documentation.
- Mentor junior QA team members and support their technical and domain growth.
- Partner with the QA Lead to continuously improve QA processes, test coverage, and release quality.
- Support team coordination and delivery in the absence of the QA Lead.
What We're Looking For
- 4–7 years of experience in software testing, preferably across mobile, web, or gaming products.
- Strong familiarity with mobile and web platforms from a QA perspective.
- Good understanding of client-server architecture, APIs, application data flow, and network debugging.
- Hands-on experience in test design, test execution, defect reporting, regression testing, and risk-based testing.
- Strong exploratory testing skills, with the ability to select the right test approach based on feature complexity and risk.
- Experience using QA tools such as Jira, TestRail, Charles Proxy, Fiddler, browser developer tools, or similar tools.
- Ability to create clear and comprehensive QA documentation, including test cases, test plans, test reports, and training material.
- Good understanding of software testing processes, SDLC/STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Points
- Experience testing mobile games, web games, or live-service products.
- Passion for gaming, with a genuine interest in playing and understanding casual games.
- Strong gaming mindset, including an understanding of player behaviour, engagement mechanics, progression, rewards, and LiveOps.
- Prior experience testing Slots, Casino, or other real-money/social casino-style games.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks and AI-driven testing approaches.
