Job Description

Responsibilities

• Help comprehend technical and functional requirements, develop, QA, and implement business-driven requests and enhancements and software upgrades.
• Provide support and maintenance of platforms owned by the team and prepare documentation of solutions.
• Help the team create and maintain acceptance criteria for user stories
• Help Business Analyst by giving suggestions from a quality assurance perspective regarding user experience, possible performance issues, and future bugs
• Work with a cross-functional team to identify risks, mitigating them where possible.

 

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

·       Core Python Skills

o   Python 3.10+ (async/await patterns)

o   FastAPI (REST API development, dependency injection, Pydantic models)

o   SQLAlchemy (ORM, database migrations with Alembic)

o   PostgreSQL (queries, schema design)

·       Frontend

o   Angular 17+ (standalone components, signals, reactive forms) – React can be considered

o   TypeScript

o   RxJS (observables, HTTP client)

o   Single-SPA (micro-frontend lifecycle hooks)

o   SCSS

o   AG Grid (data tables — heavily used across CTA and ESG)

·       Platform Context

o   Micro-frontend architecture (Single-SPA): the API serves an Angular frontend but the hire is backend-focused

o   EKS/Kubernetes awareness (not hands-on, but understanding how the app runs)

o   CI/CD (GitHub Actions)

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Willing to do Java
• Pandas (data processing, Excel file handling)
• Boto3 (AWS S3 integration)
• Docker (containerised deployments)
• Unit testing (pytest, mocking)
• Basic understanding of OAuth 2.0 / JWT authentication

• Ability to navigate through vague specifications and requirements and coordinate and engage relevant stakeholders to obtain clarity on expectations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Fast learner, critical thinker and able to work under time pressure
