Senior Director Brand and Digital Experience
Overview
The Senior Director, Brand and Digital Experience is responsible for bringing the Cotiviti brand to life across digital channels, customer experiences, content ecosystems, and market-facing touchpoints. This role serves as the bridge between enterprise brand strategy and execution, ensuring the company’s positioning, messaging, and narrative are translated into engaging, consistent, and high-impact experiences across the buyer journey.
Working closely with Creative, Product Marketing, Communications, Growth Marketing, Product, and executive leadership, this leader will oversee website strategy, digital experience, content strategy, UX/UI, and brand governance to ensure Cotiviti presents a cohesive and differentiated presence in the market.
This position requires a strategic and customer-centric leader who can balance long-term brand building with near-term business objectives, creating digital and content experiences that strengthen awareness, engagement, consideration, and commercial impact.
Responsibilities
Brand Activation and Experience
- Translate enterprise brand strategy, positioning, and messaging into meaningful customer, prospect, partner, and employee experiences
- Partner closely with Creative, Product Marketing, Communications, and Sales to ensure consistency across all brand expressions and market-facing initiatives
- Develop and maintain frameworks that ensure brand standards, messaging, and narrative are implemented consistently across channels
- Identify opportunities to strengthen brand perception, differentiation, and customer engagement throughout the buyer journey
Digital Experience and Website Strategy
- Own the strategic direction, roadmap, governance, and performance of Cotiviti’s corporate website and related digital experiences
- Lead digital experience strategy, information architecture, user journey optimization, and website evolution initiatives
- Partner with development resources and external vendors to deliver high-quality digital experiences that align with business and brand objectives
- Ensure digital experiences reflect evolving company strategy, product portfolio, and market positioning
Content Strategy and Messaging
- Lead content strategy across owned channels, ensuring alignment with enterprise messaging, business priorities, and audience needs
- Develop content frameworks that support thought leadership, executive visibility, demand generation, sales enablement, recruiting, and corporate communications
- Partner with internal subject matter experts and business leaders to translate complex healthcare and technology topics into clear, compelling, and accessible content
Establish content governance processes that drive consistency, quality, and scalability
- UX/UI and Customer Journey Optimization
- Oversee UX/UI strategy and user experience design across digital properties
- Leverage audience insights, analytics, research, and stakeholder feedback to improve usability, engagement, and conversion
- Partner with Creative and Development teams to ensure user experiences balance functionality, accessibility, brand standards, and business goals
- Implement measurement frameworks that support continuous optimization and improvement
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as a strategic partner to Marketing, Communications, Product, Sales, HR, and executive stakeholders
- Drive alignment across teams to ensure digital experiences, content, and messaging support broader business objectives
- Collaborate closely with Creative and Marketing Operations to prioritize work, manage resources, and support execution across multiple initiatives
- Build strong partnerships across the organization to ensure effective adoption and execution of brand and digital strategies
- Hire, develop, coach, lead and retain top-tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that is able to assist in employing best in class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 12+ years of experience in brand management, digital strategy, content strategy, digital experience, marketing, or related disciplines, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- 10+ years of experience leading website strategy, digital experience initiatives, content ecosystems, and customer journey optimization
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, messaging architecture, content development, and user experience principles
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives across marketing, communications, product, and business teams
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business, healthcare, and technology concepts into clear, compelling customer-facing experiences
- Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging insights and performance data to inform strategy and optimization
- Comfortable working directly with executive leadership and senior stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and managing complex priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Deep expertise in digital experience strategy, website governance, content strategy, and customer journey development
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, information architecture, and digital best practices
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading through transformation, including website redesigns, rebranding initiatives, or organizational change
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- High level of emotional intelligence, judgment, and leadership maturity

- Strong interpersonal skills required. Understands that internal customers’ interests are best served through continuous prospecting and intelligence gathering activities and proactive communication with sales partners.
- Must be able to perform daily functions with little or no direct supervision.

Base compensation ranges from $185,000 to $245,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs. This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus.
