You will join the Strategy function, supporting Revenue Growth, Pricing, Promotion modeling, Sales Analytics, and Reporting and have direct exposure to the top leadership team. Plus, you will get the opportunity to observe the impact of your work quickly translate into action across our network for both Dave & Buster’s and Main Event brands.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Data analysis and strategic insights:Conduct transaction-level analysis using SQL to extract, transform, and analyze large-scale datasetsBuild financial and operational models to evaluate sales performance, operations, partnerships, pricing strategies, and growth opportunitiesCreate reports, dashboards, and other analyses that answer key strategic questions and drive critical business decisionsCombine strong business fundamentals with analysis capabilities to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and executive-ready recommendationsPresent findings to senior leadership, articulating trade-offs, risks, and implementation considerationsProject Leadership & Cross-Functional ExecutionLead and manage strategic projects from ideation through execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables under tight timelinesPartner cross-functionally with to align strategy with execution realitiesWork together with small teams on project executionREQUIREMENTS:Strong proficiency in Databricks and/or other database management toolsStrong proficiency to code in SQL independently, working closely with engineering and architecture teamsProven experience in a reporting or data analysis role, delivering high-value business insights based on dataExperience with financial modeling and analysisAbility to understand complex data and translate it into meaningful business insightsDetail-orientation with a focus on accuracy and data integrityExperience working with IT teams to develop and implement reporting solutionsAbility to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysisStrong written and oral communication skillsConsulting experience requiredExperience managing team members preferredWHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?:Dave & Buster’s is an imaginative and dynamic company dedicated to creating innovative entertainment experiences that bring joy, laughter, and excitement to people of all ages.
