We're looking for a Senior Podcast Producer who can own the entire production process—from developing episode concepts and booking guests to overseeing recording, post-production, and distribution.</p><p>This is more than producing a podcast. You'll help build a media brand that reaches millions of educators, athletes, parents, and students.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Ideal Candidate</strong></p><p>You consume podcasts because you're fascinated by why they work—not just who the guest is. You study creators like Diary of a CEO, Colin &amp; Samir, Call Her Daddy, The Joe Rogan Experience, All-In, and My First Million to understand storytelling, pacing, audience retention, and packaging. You're constantly thinking about better guests, stronger hooks, more engaging conversations, and smarter ways to grow a media brand.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><p>As our Senior Podcast Producer, you'll own the end-to-end production of <em>On The Subject with Mike Vilardo</em> while helping shape the future of Subject's creator and media strategy.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul><li>Own the weekly production schedule from guest outreach through episode launch.</li><li>Research guests and develop compelling interview angles, talking points, and episode outlines.</li><li>Lead pre-production planning, run-of-show documents, and recording logistics.</li><li>Direct live recordings to ensure engaging conversations and high production quality.</li><li>Collaborate with Michael Vilardo to refine episode structure, storytelling, and audience engagement.</li><li>Identify viral moments and coordinate with the editing team on clips, thumbnails, titles, and packaging.</li><li>Oversee long-form and short-form post-production workflows to ensure deadlines are met.</li><li>Manage guest communications before and after recordings, including promotional assets and publishing timelines.</li><li>Track YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and social performance to improve future episodes.</li><li>Stay ahead of creator, podcast, and YouTube trends while continuously testing new formats and ideas.</li><li>Coordinate studio operations, production equipment, freelancers, and vendors as needed.</li><li>Help build scalable production systems as the media team grows.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience producing podcasts, YouTube shows, or creator-led media.</li><li>You’re not just willing...
