This role is the engineering counterpart to our Solutions Consultants—where they translate customer needs into requirements, you'll transform those requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions that push the boundaries of our platform.As a Solutions Engineer, you'll architect and implement custom solutions using the Canvas SDK, build reusable plugins and integrations, and extend our platform's capabilities to meet complex healthcare automation challenges. You'll partner closely with Solutions Consultants to prototype rapidly, validate technical approaches, and deliver production-ready solutions that delight customers. This is a builder role where you'll directly impact how healthcare providers leverage our EMR platform while contributing to the evolution of our developer tools and SDK.The ideal candidate brings strong engineering fundamentals, passion for healthcare technology, and exceptional ability to navigate between rapid prototyping and production-quality code. You'll thrive in collaborative environments, balance customer urgency with engineering excellence, and drive technical decisions that scale. We're looking for someone who experiments fearlessly, iterates quickly, and can build elegant solutions from the ground up while maintaining the robustness required for healthcare systems.ResponsibilitiesTechnical Solution DevelopmentBuild production-ready solutions using the Canvas SDK, demonstrating mastery of event-driven architectures, handlers, and effectsTransform PRDs from Solutions Consultants into elegant, maintainable code that solves real healthcare workflow challengesCreate robust plugins and integrations that extend platform capabilities while maintaining HIPAA compliance and clinical documentation standardsDevelop and maintain a library of reusable components and patterns that accelerate future solution deliveryPlatform Enhancement & InnovationIdentify gaps in SDK capabilities and contribute directly to platform improvements through pull requests and feature developmentDesign and implement new SDK features that enable broader solution patterns across the customer baseBuild developer tools and utilities that improve the efficiency of both internal teams and external developersCreate technical documentation, integration guides, and reference implementations for complex solutionsCross-Functional Technical LeadershipPartner with Solutions Consultants to validate technical feasibility and architect optimal approachesCollaborate with core engineering teams to align custom solutions with platform roadmap and architectural standardsEnable customer success through technical workshops, debugging sessions, and solution handoffsMentor Solutions Consultants on technical concepts and best practices for SDK usageQualificationsRequired Experience & BackgroundBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience2+ years of professional software development experience with modern web stacksDemonstrated ability to build end-to-end solutions from requirements to production deploymentStrong problem-solving skills with ability to navigate ambiguous...
