As a trusted leader, the Project Director enables client business outcomes by delivering project scope within budget and time, while driving a superior client experience. This individual is responsible for leading joint Oracle and client teams through the successful implementation of non-routine and complex business solutions as part of cloud application implementations, providing structure, discipline, guidance, and direction.

Client Facing Delivery & Execution

  • Accountability for financial performance, client satisfaction, and talent retention

  • As needed, act as functional Executive Sponsor for a complex program/client, providing guidance and direction to project team and client.

  • Provide leadership and guidance for the delivery team to influence solution/best practices provided in acceptance of Oracle solutions.

  • Drive to outcomes that achieve the clients' values and vision for the project including being a relationship builder.

  • Provide guidance and direction to the Cloud Consulting Project Manager to achieve healthy project margin and ensure the project are delivered successfully with a positive impact on P&L.

  • Resolves and responsible for complex escalations from clients and within the project team.

  • Liaise with PM to ensure the latest deployment and quality methods are executed across assigned programs and projects.

  • Provide leadership, guidance and represent OCS and industry best practices.

  • Active participation in the Quality Management / Assurance process including supporting and resolving the results/actions identified within the team

  • Fosters an environment of collaboration, community and trust that encourages and engages the team.

  • Develop project team by actively providing coaching and feedback.

  • Ensure there is a strong project culture that not only includes a focus on delivery but also on the ongoing effectiveness and satisfaction of the team members.

 Account Development & Maintenance

  • Promote opportunities to extend/expand Oracle’s footprint in the account.

  • Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of the account.

  • Aligns with Delivery Excellence to drive enablement and adherence to Deployment Approach practices / principles.

  • Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationship with client and project senior leadership.

  • Empowers PM and team through facilitation of negotiations within team, provides leadership where conditions require.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $126,200 to $264,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
