As a Grocery Department Manager, you will oversee all daily operations of the Grocery Department, drive sales and profitability, and ensure strong in‑stock conditions, accurate pricing, and high merchandising standards. Main responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the Grocery Department with a focus on customer service, sales, and department readiness

Deliver friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally

Ensure shelves, displays, and aisles are clean, full, front‑faced, and merchandised to company standards

Execute planograms, promotional sets, seasonal transitions, and weekly ad merchandising
-
Manage ordering, inventory levels, product rotation, and backroom organization
-
Monitor shrink and implement procedures to reduce waste and loss
-
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, safety, and operational standards
-
Hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop grocery associates while fostering a positive team environment

Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry products and work in coolers and freezers
